Hey, How's it Goin'

It's been a weird couple of weeks.

Life has been good, I'm not complaining.

But things have been feeling weird.

I'm someone who thinks saying something you feel and regretting it is always better than not saying something you feel and regretting it.

But I'm in a position where I'm feeling stuck (Like a sinking heart). I'm just gonna leave it at that. I think it's a battle I have to fight inside my head. (But goddamn it's frustrating)

Anyways...

My interest in business and growing them has leveled up a little bit more I'd say. I'm seeing a LOT of overlap between the things I'm doing in my life currently.

And there is a quote by a Samurai named Miyamoto Mushashi, which I didn't fully understand at first, but I'm beginning to see it now. It goes like:

"Once you understand the way broadly, you can see it in all things" (I'm paraphrasing it)

I think it means, once you learn how to get good at something, whether it be drawing, working out, making money, business, relationships etc,

You can see how the process for getting good at them is very similar to each other.

It's a very interesting quote which I'm now able to see in the things I'm doing.

You can analyse it for yourself by looking at the things you're trying to get good at right now, and see how the process for them follow a very similar path.

In other news,

I've analysed that I've become better at the things I'm doing day to day on the full-time job front and also on my personal life front.

But Kapil! What happened to your art? Are you even drawing these days?

The answer is: not as much as I would like to. But I am putting in at least a day every week to just scribble my ideas and have a base I can build on later.

I've started spending a little bit more time with my family. It is something a man needs to make time for. And I'm slowly but surely spending more time with them while I can.

Even though I don't talk here a lot, I hope your days are better.

Will see you soon.

Kapil.
